Job Title: Sr. Paralegal

Salary: $85000 - $95000 / Year

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday onsite (business hours; flexibility required during trial periods)

Job Description

Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Senior Paralegal to support litigation teams through all phases of case management, discovery, trial preparation, and court filings. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day case management, including organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
  • Coordinate file transfers between offices and ensure proper document tracking
  • Manage team calendars and distribute incoming electronic filings to attorneys and litigation staff
  • Support mediation and other case-related proceedings through document preparation and coordination
  • Prepare and electronically file court documents in state courts under attorney supervision
  • Assemble and distribute required courtesy copies in compliance with court rules
  • Draft privilege and redaction logs consistent with discovery requirements and court guidelines
  • Conduct document research using legal research platforms and assist with drafting templates, tables of contents, and tables of authorities
  • Coordinate cite-checking and proofreading to ensure filings meet court and jurisdictional standards
  • Assist attorneys with deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing binders (print and electronic)
  • Provide on-site support during depositions when requested
  • Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits, maintaining trial calendars, coordinating vendors, and assisting with courtroom logistics
  • Manage document tracking and exhibit updates throughout trial proceedings
  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, internal litigation support teams, court personnel, and external vendors
  • Coordinate transcript orders and manage vendor relationships to ensure deadlines are met
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to junior paralegals when applicable

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Experience with state court e-filing systems (File & ServeXpress experience preferred) and Court of Chancery
  • Strong knowledge of court rules, discovery protocols, and litigation procedures
  • Proficiency with legal research tools such as Bloomberg or similar platforms
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active matters
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work extended hours during trial preparation and active proceedings
