Center Director $ 1500 Sign on Bonus Offered Gambrills, MD Childcare Center Director –| Full-Time Bambini Montessori Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Childcare Director to lead our Montessori-based early childhood program for children ages infant to 5 years old. The Director will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and Office of Child Care (OCC) regulations, and support a positive, nurturing learning environment for children, families, and staff. Enrollment Bonus offered (details in offer letter) Responsibilities: * Manage daily operations of the center, including staffing, enrollment, and licensing compliance. * Supervise and support teachers and staff through training, scheduling, and evaluations. * Maintain strong relationships with families and promote open communication. * Ensure classrooms reflect the Montessori philosophy and meet all MSDE standards. * Oversee safety, health, and record-keeping procedures. * Collaborate with administration on budgeting and program development. Qualifications (per MSDE/OCC requirements): * MSDE Director Qualification required. * Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field OR90-hour Preschool Certification + 45-hour Director/Admin Course + 5 years of child care experience. * CPR/First Aid, Basic Health & Safety, and 9-Hour Communication Course. * Must pass background check and medical clearance.
