Job Description

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a client site in Morganton, NC, working Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. The role involves collecting blood specimens using various techniques, processing patient information, and delivering excellent customer service across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses
• Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation; willing to travel to additional sites
