CHA’s department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an Ob/Gyn Chief Physician Assistant to join our team. We provide a full spectrum of gynecological, obstetric, maternity and reproductive health care services to our growing patient population in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston’s metro North region.The Chief PA provides clinical leadership, teaching, and administrative oversight across our inpatient and outpatient settings. Serve as the PA departmental liaison, collaborating with medical leadership and hospital administration
Coordinate and manage PA clinical schedules to ensure adequate coverage across Labor & Delivery & Outpatient sites
Chief PA will deliver care in Labor & Delivery unit, Maternity, L&D Triage, Inpatient Rounding for GYN, ER consults, first assist in OR cases, and outpatient OB/GYN visits.
Full-Time 40 hours per week: 36 hours clinical, 4 hours administrative
Schedule: Day/Night Rotating including weekends
No On-Call
Qualified candidates will have at a minimum 5 years of Physician Assistant experience post graduation. Ideal candidates will have 5 years of OB/GYN experience. Previous experience in GYN Surgery First Assist and C/Sections, OB Triage, Labor Management, and Postpartum Rounding is preferred. Candidates must have a strong desire to serve our underserved, multicultural patient population, as well as be mission driven and possess excellent clinical skills. The successful candidate will lead a team committed to excellence while maintaining their own clinical presence in our fast-paced inpatient and outpatient settings.CHA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, 403b retirement accounts with matching, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), and a CME allotment (both time and dollars).
