Job Description

Salary: $41,600 - 62,400 per year Requirements:

• We seek experience in structured cabling or outside plant (OSP) work.
• We require knowledge of fiber handling, color coding, and the use of specialized tools and equipment such as bucket trucks or splicing trailers.
• We need the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs.
• We require comfort working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
• We value flexibility and a willingness to support emergency or after-hours work when needed.
• We expect strong attention to safety practices, accurate recordkeeping, and dependable documentation skills.

• We install, splice, test, and repair fiber optic and copper cable networks in aerial, underground, and buried settings.
• We perform both mechanical and fusion splicing for single-mode and multi-mode fiber cables.
• We place, rearrange, and remove cable in conduits, on poles, and across outside plant routes.
• We use OTDR and Fluke testing equipment to certify fiber and copper lines and diagnose faults.
• We build cable vaults, maintain manholes, and install closures and related infrastructure.
• We complete work orders, time sheets, material transfers, and other required job documentation accurately.
• We follow safety standards closely and support emergency or after-hours assignments when necessary.
