Must have at least 5+ years of progressive safety and environmental experience within manufacturing operations. Bachelor of Science degree in safety, environmental or related technical degree required. This position will be the sole EHS professional for a (250) employee, well-established and stable industrial organization. All local facilities - no travel required.
This role will initially focus on revamping and creating a robust safety & environmental program for the company and leading employee safety engagement. Must have the ability to assess, develop and implement advanced EHS systems and programs that will move the company forward proactively. EHS technical authority for the company; conducts formal risk assessments and incident investigations, delivers safety training, manages hazardous waste control and leads company SDS program.
