Business Development Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

This is a full-time Business Development Representative career opportunity with Chris Hartford State Farm in Timonium, MD, designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the insurance industry. You will receive structured training, hands-on coaching, and a clear path to grow professionally in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive outreach to prospects and existing customers
• Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the agency system
• Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals
• Participate in product training and licensing coursework

Qualifications

• No prior experience required - we will train you
• Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
• Self-motivated and comfortable with consistent outreach and follow-up
• Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses
• Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude

Pay range: $65,000-$85,000 per year
