Assistant Manager – Farinolio

Farinolio is looking for an experienced, reliable, and highly motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. We are an authentic Tuscan café focused on exceptional food, warm hospitality, and creating a memorable experience for every guest.

The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager and ownership to oversee daily operations, support and train the team, maintain Farinolio’s standards, and help drive the continued growth of both locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with day-to-day restaurant operations
• Lead the team during shifts and ensure smooth, efficient service
• Train and onboard new employees according to Farinolio standards
• Maintain a high level of customer service and address guest concerns professionally
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed thoroughly
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, food quality, and presentation
• Assist with employee scheduling, shift coverage, and daily staffing needs
• Monitor inventory and communicate ordering or product needs
• Help control labor, waste, and operational costs
• Support private events, catering orders, tastings, and special programming
• Encourage teamwork, accountability, and clear communication among staff
• Be comfortable working hands-on alongside the team during busy service periods
• Help identify opportunities to increase guest traffic, sales, and average ticket value
